Love this race and all of the chaos it brings!
This is the first trail race that I ever ran and the one that really changed my running journey.
10 mile loop - choose 1,2, or 3 loops.
Well marked trail through beautiful Salt Fork State Park.
Mostly single track with all the rocks and roots and plenty of elevation.
December in Ohio can bring all the elements. I have run this race through sunshine and 60’s, high wind warnings, rain, sleet, and snow. Often times the weather changes up mid race! NOT TO MENTION THE MUD….
This year we were blessed with near perfect conditions allowing me to run the majority of the race and without having my shoes sucked off my feet!
I took advantage of the BOGO sale and signed up for a 2nd chance to spot Bigfoot!
First time running the Sunday race and it is a completely different vibe from Saturday ✌️
10 mile distance is the only option with less than 100 runners.
High trail traffic yesterday + warmer temperatures today = MORE MUD!
