2 laps was just right in the 20-mile distance. It was a great day for running but the trails were extra muddy. Don’t miss the Christmas Ale after party!
Awesome race, even in a pandemic. The course will eat your shoes (or two pairs, even) but it will feed your soul. Come prepared to smile, laugh, and cry. The crew does a tremendous job.
There is something for everyone in this race. Largely runnable, single and 2-track, some road running and impressive hills for a total of 4,469 ft elevation gain. Some mud. 3 loops of 10+ miles. Awesome swag. Definitely would do again!
I enjoyed the Bigfoot 10+ miler trail run despite the mud and hills. This was my longest trail run and only 3rd lifetime trail run. The views on the trail, especially near the lake were quite stunning. Very well marked course, direction not an issue.
Father and son enjoyed a beautiful day at Bigfoot 2020. Liam was 5th overall and Jim was a respectable top 50. Course was a lot of fun. Enjoyed being out with so many folks respecting each others space and enjoying the day.
This is a very well run and organized trail run in Ohio. It is one of the most scenic and challenging 50K races you will find in Ohio!! And a beautiful lodge to rent a room or cottage and make a weekend out of it!
A great race held in the hills of southern Ohio! This race is no joke! The course is challenging with mud pits and over 4000 ft of elevation. The western reserve guys are fantastic host and this is a must do ultra in the Midwest!
My first trail race was this Bigfoot 10m. It was great. Nice course. I would love to see more swag to buy and more interactive Bigfoot, but Covid...I get it.
Well it’s Monday morning the day after the Bigfoot, and I am still afraid that there is another hill that’s around the bend. So glad I made the race this year, beautiful track, had a blast with my friends ! Can’t wait until next year !
The Bigfoot 10 mile is a fantastic race! At every turn there is something different to experience. This is the third Bigfoot race for me. The first year was cold and mud. The second year was cold and mud. This year was golf, cold and mud. LOVE IT!
What an event! The course was a mix of wooded trail, road, lakeside, and hilltop running. Staggered starts, masks at the start and aid stations, grab and go aid – pandemic precautions were taken seriously. I felt safe. AND we all saw Bigfoot!
Excellent race with good support and very organized! I have been doing running and multi sport events for 20 years and this was top notch! No hassles and great experience . Race fee was affordable and the course and staging area was really nice.
Another well run event by Western Reserve racing! The trails at Salt Fort can’t be beat and the whole vibe created by Western Reserve racing made a great day for everyone!
An amazing first race back after a long break! Challenging loop with beautiful scenery. Not as much mud as I was expecting, trails were in great shape! 10 miles was just right. Well organized for social distancing. Will be back in 2021!!
Great race with a tough course through the hills of southern Ohio along the salt fork. The organizers are great and very much care about all of the runners! A definite must do in the Midwest!
Signed up for an actual in-person race! Planning to ease in with the 10 mile distance which won't be a walk in the park given current conditioning.. Excited to get back out there though!! Will be my 3rd time running Bigfoot. Always a good one.
