Summary

New twist on an old race, the Down & Dirty 5 miler added a 10 mile option this year! Choose 1 loop or 2 through scenic CVNP. The trail offers some moderately technical areas & one long hill but overall very runable. Nice swag options, medals, & award

Down & Dirty 5-Mile Trail Race

New twist on an old race!  The Down & Dirty 5 Miler added a 10 mile option this year!
Great communication, easy directions, ample  free parking, and organized packet pick up.
5 mile loop - choose 1 loop or 2 for your distance on this well marked trail race through beautiful CVNP! The trail has some fairly technical areas and one loooong hill but overall I found it very runable making for a faster trail race than I typically see.
One aid station on course and another at the start / finish with hydration and snacks for all athletes. I especially enjoyed my snow cone at the finish line!
Choice of swag and finisher medals. Overall and age group winners receive a nice pin for your ribbon.
