Nike Nike Zoom X Invincible Run FK

Now that winter is here I find myself running less outside and more on the treadmill.  For whatever reason, I have been experiencing more than normal calf tightness from the treadmill running.   I purchased the Nike Zoom X Invisible Flynit to see if they would live up to the hype and reduce my pain while running.  I typically wear the Nike Zoom Fly 3.   Right out of the box I noticed that the shoes look huge!  There is so much foam cushioning which extends behind the heal of the shoe.  I will say that they feel lighter then they look as they do have a large bulky look to them.  I have put about 25 miles on the shoes so far all but 3.1 miles were on the treadmill.   I can say that the claims Nike makes are legit.  These shoes provide a soft supportive ride absorbing the impact of each foot strike.  They have really helped with my calf pain while running on the treadmill.  The only outdoor run so far in them was a 5K race.   I experienced the same amazing cushioning and impact absorption on the road as I did on the treadmill.  I will say that because of all of the impact absorption the shoes felt a little slow with energy being absorbed not returned.  I will probably stick with my Zoom Fly 3 or equivalent type shoe for racing and use the Zoom X Invisible Flynit for training.   Overall a really nice shoe that does what Nike claims.  I would recommend anyone needing more cushion and support than what a typical running shoe provides to check these out.  Nike offers this shoe in several really nice colors.
