Tuscazoar Raw Review

Good communication, easy directions, and ample free parking near the start / finish. Packet pick up was organized and easy. 
Inaugural year, the course was mostly well marked but I did miss a turn somewhere and ended up with an extra mile or two.
Distance options for all abilities 
Beautiful course with tons of elevation, all the rocks / roots / tree obstacles, mud, a few small stream crossings, and a whole river crossing! 
Well spaced and fully stocked aid stations on course with so many friendly and knowledgeable volunteers.
Amazing swag! I love the logo featured on the soft SS tee, matching rawhide finishers medal, and unique bib. 
All athletes wear an ankle timing chip and receive a cattle ear tag as their bib. The tag can be added permanently to your running vest as a cool souvenir (yes, please) or pinned on.
Add ons available including tank, hat, and hat clip.
Overall awards for top 3 male / female in each distance were a super cool laser etched stone that would amazing in my yard… maybe next year. 🤣
