Arc'teryx Kragg Shoe Review

I've been wanting these slip-ons from Arc'teryx fo a while now and finally picked a pair up. They have become my go-to everyday shoe. Staring from the bottom the Vibram sole is unstoppable on any surface. I've used them on muddy trails to slick rock and they still grip. The midosle is a super plush/soft foam that has worked as a recovery slipper for me. A bonus with these slip-ons is the heels fold down so around the house it works just like a normal slipper. Then when I leave to run errands I can pop the heel up and get the support I need for walking around. The upper is a super breathable mesh that works never overheats my feet. Also the hard rubber toecap protects well, but is a little on the big side for me. However this shoe is made to be a climbing approach shoe so the added protection when doing some scrambling is justified. They are easy to slip on and don't rub anywhere. I feel they are stylish enough to go out and about in compared to my Hoka Slides or Oofos Overall a great daily show for many different purposes.

Outsole

The Vibram Megagrip sticks to everything and Arc'teryx added a small climbing area at the toes that work well for simple scrambles.

Comments

David Moore Interesting. These look like they could also be a good camp/creek shoe if they dry out fast. Pricey, but I have other Arc'Teryx gear I've found worth the investment.

Michael Young Definitely camp shoe, I'm not sure how quick they dry yet.
