Indian Creek Valley 5k Fun Run Review

This was my first fun run non-timed event ever in my life (lol!). It was nice not to have to pin on a bib and poke holes in my clothes, haha. I ran with my eight-year-old, while my husband (who works for the sponsoring non-profit) ran with my older son, age 11. A lot of friends and community members we know ran, and it was fun to see them on the out and back route. About 100 people participated. It’s peak wildflower bloom time in the area, and we love identifying the ones we see along the path - trilium, springbeauty, bellwort, trout lily, violets, etc. Beautiful for an easy fun run day, about 70 degrees and humid!
