Altra Experience Wild Review

I have hit the trail with the Altra Experience Wild a total of 8 times since I purchased them in June 2024.  I tend to log more road miles than trail miles but when I am not in a marathon build, I like to get on the trails.  The moment I put on the Wild’s, I knew I made the right purchase.  I wear a size 12. The shoe feels light. The 4mm drop is ideal for me.  The lugs aren’t narly like my Saucony Peregrine were but they hold their own on any type of terrain.  I like that I can get on the road with the Wild’s and not feel any discomfort on the bottom of my feet.  I recently ran on a snow covered and icy trail and didn’t have any issues with these shoes digging and keeping me moving forward. The material is durable and for a low drop shoe, there is plenty of cushion.  If you are looking for a new trail shoe, give the Altra Experience Wild a try.
