Summary

Upgrade to the previous hydrapak ultra flask, quick snap top for easy refills, New comfort strap improves the game. It's predecessor only good as a vest bottle. Very slippery when wet, the new strap seems to solve this problem.

HydraPak SkyFlask speed 500 Review

Always looking for the faster water bottles to refill versus carrying a vest in those long runs.  I have been practicing unscrewing my Nathan EXO top, refilling at water stations and continuing without stopping.   The pop top on a hydrapak makes it much easier. NOTE: You do need to practice refilling on the run!

Strap

Thumb loop

Adding the thumb loop on the strap keeps the water bottle in my hand even when I'm sweaty.  I full on let go of the bottle and it didn't fall out of my hand.

Flip top

Open

Takes quite a bit to break it in, but if it opens too easy, that would be worse.
