Cincinnati Flying Pig Marathon

Summary

Although we faced a significant storm during the marathon/half marathon, I still had the time of my life! This event was so well planned, the spectators were amazing, and the challenges were awesome! This will be new yearly tradition for us!

Tech shirts would have been a better choice

My family and I all participated in the Flying Pig weekend!
The packet pick up experience and expo were very well put together and flowed nicely for the massive amount of people who showed. I came out with a massive bag full of free stuff with tons of extra Flying Pig perks.
I completed 'The 3-Way with Extra Cheese' challenge which includes: The Fifty West 1-mile run (extra cheese portion of challenge); the 5K, the 10K, and the Half Marathon.
Each race flowed nicely and we had the time of our lives. I was sick during the 10K but even still I had a blast.
The entire weekend was so enjoyable that our family has decided to make this a yearly tradition. I have already signed up for 'The 4-Way with Extra Cheese' which is all the same races as previously mentioned but only I will complete a full marathon instead of the Half. I am super excited!
