This a great race 10 mile race to run with friends and family. It is a very scenic route past the National Mall and rows of cherry blossom trees.
I will caution you that there are a few hills.
I love the crowd support and warming blankets at the end.
I have run this race for seven consecutive years!
Volunteering has its perks. You get a chance to help other runners and meet others from all over the world.
It is really inspiring to have this up close and personal experience with world champions and everyday heroes as you prepare to take the starting line together!
