CW-X Endurance Generator Joint & Muscle Support 3/4 Compression Tight Review

After getting a PR after wearing tights for the first time, and speaking to fellow runners who wear tights, I had to try these out.   CW-X and CEP are the two high performance compression pants/ tights.   I have ordered both pants and 3/4 (capris if they are "women's style) these are the first to test in a live race. Tested at the Boston Athletic Association 5K.  For those who are unfamiliar, mostly flat course, really high energy event with 10,000 runners.   Set a new PR, with no soreness and great knee support.

Kinesiology tape stitching

Reenforced compression and support along the knee

Initially I thought it was just designed for show, but has practical use and provided great support and stability.   Usually, I have right interior knee pain after running.  Not today.

Pockets and shorts

Unlike other tight, you do not have to wear shorts over them. Example, the OV tights I reviewed have an open fly, so you need to wear shorts.  These are good to go with out!  Drawstring if you want it, and fairly easy to get on.  They provide some compression on the calf, but I did choose these at the 3/4 length to vent heat. Which they did nicely!

The minus is NO pockets.  Not even a key fob pocket. So you need a belt, or shorts to carry your stuff!
