This was the first virtual race (I selected 5k) I ran, as races during COVID were still scarce in my area, and I needed something to keep me motivated during my 100
+ lbs weight loss journey. This was actually my reward to myself for hitting 110 pounds down! I ran it along my favorite route, and set a PR that day!
Shipping was really the only bummer, it took over a month to receive my gear, but it all arrived without damage and the race medal was of great quality. I opted for the upgrade to a lightweight Hoodie, and the quality appears to be ok for a thin sweater. No damage with washing and wearing as of yet!
This was my first Virtual 5k, but I have already signed up for more!
