Summary

Surprisingly good quality and effective.  The foam is very hard - almost as solid a plastic.  They roll seamlessly along the semi-flexible, but extremely strong handles and rod.  I put tons of force on this thing without issue.

Trigger Point STK Contour

The construction of this device is the best I've used.  The foam wheels all operate independently and smoothly along the axle. The axle and handles can take a ton of force as you bend it against your quads or calves.  The handles are ergonomically shaped and rubberized so they are comfortable for the long recovery sessions.

Experience

I've used this and also some spiked ball rollers - The STK contour is better for the variety of muscles that normally need recovery work.  I've also found that the rolling foam wheels are less painful than the spikey alternatives.  This has lasted me 3-4 years and looks brand new.  Also fits easily in my gym bag for short trips.
