Summary

It is a good, basic, heart rate monitor.  No frills, but will get the job done in rough terrains when an optical watch won't.

Cons

Wahoo Tikr

I bought this when i was new to running (~$50) because my watch's hear rate data wasn't reliable when i was trail running.  It did the job and was also helpful with transmitting the HR data to the Peloton and my street bike's Garmin Edge.

Experience

Within 6 months i bought a Garmin HRM - Run for <$100 because I had already replaced the battery in the Wahoo 3x and the Garmin HRM run gave additional running dynamics data.

After going to Garmin, I haven't looked back
