Hoka One One - Clifton 8

Summary

Solid daily trainer with lots of cushion. Not the fastest or lightest shoe out there, but a great workhorse.

Hoka One One Clifton 8

The Clifton 8 from Hoka gave a great 400 miles before I retired then recently. I was impressed with how long the tread lasted for a road running shoe. Also the synthetic tops easily could handle a few more hundred miles.  The rocker wasn't to pronounced, but big enough to make my long runs just glide by. Depending on how the 9 looks when it comes out, I may just get another pair of the 8s instead. Great for medium to long runs with it's cushioning and made for an easy stride.I

Experience

I typically rotate through 2 or 3 shoes a year and have been running since middle school, so lots of experience with running shoes in general.
