The race was organized very efficiently and well. Once I got to Race Day Central, it took me 10 minutes to get to the start which was inclusive of going through the metal detectors and going to the bathroom. The lines were short and I was ready to hit the course!
This was my first half marathon as I am trying to qualify for the NYC Marathon through the 9+1 program. It is also my 6th organized NYRR event.
