Core Performance Technologies 1. Dual-Layer Dual-Supercritical Foam Midsole At the heart of the Wind 4.0 Pro is our innovative dual-density, dual-supercritical foam midsole, engineered exclusively for long-distance running: Top Layer: Q-PRO Supercritical Foam : 35C hardness supercritical foamed material delivers plush, responsive cushioning on foot strike, dissipating ground impact to reduce joint stress, and maintains consistent elasticity even in -15℃ low-temperature environments. Bottom Layer: Ultra-Light Supportive Foam (Xiu Technology) : Firm, supportive base layer enhances gait stability, prevents excessive midsole deformation, and delivers consistent energy return from the first mile to the 42nd, drastically reducing late-race leg fatigue. Paired with a 5mm thick supercritical foam insole with built-in arch support, this shoe adds an extra layer of cushioning and stability, and can be upgraded with aftermarket insoles for a fully customized feel. 2. Full-Length Isomeric Flying-Wing T400 Carbon Plate Engineered for smooth rolling efficiency rather than aggressive, hard-to-control propulsion, this full-length carbon plate features an isomeric flying-wing structure with 12mm extended forefoot curvature. The "full medial filling, lateral wrapped hollow" design delivers: Smooth, natural stride transition from heel strike to toe-off, reducing the effort required to maintain your target pace over long distances Enhanced arch support and anti-overpronation performance, correcting gait and reducing the risk of injury for runners with mild flat feet or low arches Reinforced longitudinal ribs for improved rigidity and stability during high-speed cornering and tempo runs An accessible learning curve for runners new to carbon plate shoes, without the steep power requirement of elite-level racing shoes 3. Wide-Foot Friendly Ergonomic Last Built exclusively for the foot shape of runners worldwide, the Wind 4.0 Pro features a full wide-last design: 5.2mm wider forefoot, 4.8mm wider midfoot, and 3.6mm wider heel, with a "wide forefoot, wide midfoot, narrow heel" silhouette. This inclusive fit accommodates wide feet, fat feet, flat feet, and low-arched runners, eliminating the pinching and blisters common with narrow running shoes. For narrow-foot runners, we recommend sizing down half a size for a snug, locked-in fit. Newly added EU 46 size for big-foot runners, no more compromise on fit. 4. Durable & Breathable Q-SILK PRO Jacquard Mesh Upper The upper is crafted from Q-SILK PRO leno elastic jacquard mesh, with zoned density weaving: dense ventilation holes in the forefoot maximize airflow to keep your feet cool and dry in hot weather, while 27% larger reinforced TPU overlay in the midfoot delivers 46% higher lateral tear resistance, ensuring the locked-in fit never fades, even in the late stages of a full marathon. The independent tongue design prevents rolling and digging into the top of your foot, while the rigid heel counter with wrapped padding locks your ankle in place to eliminate heel slip and wobble during long runs. 5. Marathon-Grade CPU Wear-Resistant Rubber Outsole The full-sole marathon-grade CPU wear-resistant rubber outsole features a 2mm thickened layer in the high-abrasion lateral heel area, with 78% outsole coverage for exceptional durability over hundreds of kilometers of road running. Real-world 42km full marathon testing shows only 0.3mm of wear depth after a single race. The W-shaped anti-slip tread pattern provides reliable grip on asphalt, plastic tracks, and even wet surfaces, while the anti-overpronation structure ensures stable foot strike and transition with every step.

Summary

I wanted to review the pairing of the Wind model of shoes by Qiaodan. The standard Wind 4 is posted and this is the Pro version, which is a carbon plated runner in the likes of the Puma Deviate Nitro series.
