Swim, Bike & Run with Heather 🏊‍♀️🚵‍♀️🏃‍♀️💪

Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Heather Jenson is a:

  • Multiple certified fitness instructor
  • iFit Trainer
  • Run coach, and...
  • Lover of Ironmans and marathons! 

Running

  • Since running her first marathon in 2008, she's now completed 29 marathons with a 3:19 PR and multiple half marathons (too many to count!) with a PR of 1:25. 
  • She has qualified for the Boston, New York, and Chicago marathons 10+ times. She is also a certified run coach and loved helping athletes achieve their running goals! 

Ironman triathlons

  • She has  raced 9 Ironmans, (2 full 140.6 races and seven 70.3 races) and was featured in the Ironman Quest for Kona documentary in 2018. 

Coaching & training

  • Heather teaches fitness classes, including Spin, Pump, Power Yoga, HIIT and Pilates. 
  • In addition to teaching locally, She is an iFit trainer and coaches on the global platform through NordicTrack and loves coaching and connecting with iFit members and fitness enthusiasts, and is well respected and loved in the fitness and running and triathlon community on social media. 

“I love being an iFit trainer and helping others achieve their goals," says Heather.

"It’s so rewarding and I love my job! And traveling to incredible destinations to film has definitely been an incredible perk! One of the highlights of my career was filming the Boston marathon with iFit and my bike series in Spain.”

Fun facts

  • She loves to golf, hike, ski, and watch movies in her free time with her husband, three children and their dog. 
  • She graduated from Dixie State University with a degree in music and also teaches flute and guitar to her students.

3 tips from Heather for aspiring triathletes

1. Just start! 

  • As a two-time Ironman finisher and triathlete, Heather’s top tip for getting started into triathlon is simple– just sign up for a race and start training! 

2. Learn.

  • Become a “student” of triathlon and start swimming, cycling and running with friends who know. And learn as much as you can about triathlon from anyone you can! Just make sure your source is knowledgeable. 

3. Ask for help. 

  • Heather is a coach and she found that having a coach of her own for Ironman was invaluable!
