🏃♀️🏃♂️Want to WIN a pair of Saucony Guide 15 running shoes?
👟You know...from Saucony, one of the oldest running shoe companies in the world that started in Boston, Mass.
Makes sense right? Home of the most famous road race in the world...The Boston Marathon.
Fun fact: Saucony (pronounced: sok-uh-nee) opened it's first factory in Kutztown, Penn., in 1898 on the banks of the Saucony Creek. Yep, that's how Saucony got it's name.
This is sweet: In 2019 Saucony partnered with Dunkin' Donuts to create the Saucony X Dunkin' Kinvara 10 to celebrate the Boston Marathon. The shoes came in a donut box and the heel was covered in rainbow sprinkles. Not so sweet...it's no longer available.
Love the Saucony brand? Or want to give it a try?
The Saucony Guide 15 is a lightweight, cushioned road running shoe designed to give you a smooth ride for every mile.

When Hyde Athletics bought out Saucony in the late 1960s, it put some of the best shoe designers in the world on the same team.
Not long after the merger, Runner's World magazine picked the Saucony Hornet as a top-performing and best-value shoe for runners.
The Hornet was so popular, demand grew by 20 percent. And you can still buy the retro running shoe in select sizes (Mens Hornet, Women's Hornet)
Fast forward 60 years, and Saucony is still a major player in the running shoe industry.

We caught up with Heather Cleary at Morgantown Running for a quick Q&A:
Q: What do you believe to be the most valuable product or service that you offer?
Heather: We believe the most valuable service we offer is our gait analysis and our knowledge to help our customers to pick the best shoe for their feet. We give out a lot of running advice on training and racing, too.
Q: What kinds of interesting runners have you met in your line of business?
Heather: I've met many runners who started out walking a 5k and are now training for a marathon. Very inspiring!
Q: What’s the best advice you can give a runner about picking the perfect shoe?
Heather: Everyone has their suggestion and what works for them, but find the correct shoe for YOU. It should be comfortable!
Q: What’s the best advice you can give a runner about connecting with other runners?
Heather: Find a group run or encourage a friend to start running with you. Meeting a friend to chat and run is a great way to start your day.
Q: What kinds of running events do you help to put on or promote?
Heather: We put on many events throughout the year. Kids running club, Team Spike Nights, bra fittings, Summer Mile, 4 on the 4th, half marathon, and our Turkey Trot. We love being involved in the running community.
Q: Why do you love working in the running industry?
Heather: I love hearing about why people started running and what keeps them going! It brings so much joy to see how running has changed someone's life in a positive way.
Q: What makes your running store unique?
Heather: We care about our customers!! We are more than a store, we are a running community.
Q: What do you like about the Saucony Guide 15?
Heather: The upper has a new fit, and it's lighter and less bulky.
