I wanted a sport watch for running but also for swimming- both open water and pool laps, and for cycling. Key for me were price point, battery life, accuracy and triathlon(multi sport) functionality. Coros delivers all of that.
I previously used an Apple Watch and the Pace 3 is noticeably more accurate. Coros gives me way more metrics and options, but doesn’t offer as much integration with my phone, payment, etc.
Battery life is incredible. I could barely go a day without charging my Apple Watch. With Pace 3, I go days and days before I have to charge.
I liked that the watch is lighter since I have a smaller wrist but the tradeoff is that the casing is plastic. I don’t mind the look, but it’s worth noting.
I like the Coros app and it has seamlessly integrated with several other services (Strava, Runna, HumanGO). Training plans and routes can easily be sent to the watch. Routes offer turn by turn guidance (important for me, a directionally challenged person who easily gets lost).
