Treefrog: Topical Pain Relief Review

I was sent a jar of Treefrog: Topical Pain Relief gel to try out, and I was wondering if this was going to be like every other product I've tried. They work a little, but not enough to justify paying money. I was pretty surprised and it was for a strange reason. I had a terrible migraine when this package came in the mail. I opened it up and sniffed it, and it felt like my head got a moment of relief. I figured it was worth a shot for my headache since I wasn't running until the next day. I put it on my neck and in about 30 minutes, the migraine was a dull ache. 

Yes, I know this is about running, but how many times have you had to skip a training session because of a headache? Anyway, I did a 16-mile run the day after, and since my training for my next marathon has been interrupted by life quite a bit, I was pretty sore. I put the Treefrog on my legs and it really helped! My legs didn't just feel less sore, but they felt relaxed. I figured I'd try it on my feet as well because I'd done a 12-mile walk as well, and they were a little achy. (I wore the wrong shoes. I know you've been there, too.) It helped with that as well and really quickly. 

I should warn you, though. The gel is red. I was a little surprised when I tried it out, and I did drop a bit on my light shirt. It washed right out with just water, and the color disappears in an instant. So does the scent. I mean, it's there for a moment and then it's gone. Plus, they send out a great card with yoga poses for plane seats. I'm a travel writer, so I was excited about that. I do head in and out of town a lot, so I worried about a strongly-scented cream and fellow passengers. The scent was gone before I left my bathroom! The other big test was my kitty. She sleeps on my lap when I write, but she's very sensitive to scents if I put lotion on. She didn't mind this at all, because she probably couldn't smell it. They also have little packets that contain four applications each, which is great for races that require travel. I'm definitely getting this product again!
