Summary

The INOXTO running backpack truly is a backpack. It's 8L capacity, great for carrying a lot with no support. It has many adjustable straps, but still doesn't seem to fit right on my body. Not a bad starter because of its low price point.

INOXTO Running Backpack Review

I got this running backpack hoping for larger capacity for ultras and the ease of having fillable soft flasks on the shoulder straps for electrolyte/fuel mixes. At 8L capacity, this is TRULY a backpack, not a hydration vest. I was a bit disappointed with several features of the pack. That being said, I think it's a great starter option for someone wanting to try a hydration pack without investing a great sum of money. I got it for around $35 on Amazon.

Hydration Set Up

There are several weird things about the hydration set up. First, I did really like the shoulder sleeve for the hose. That made it so the host didn't rub against my neck like in other packs. However, there is no clip or connection point for the hose mouth. I had to loop it through the elastic fasteners, which made getting into the pouches a pain. There is a clip cover over the mouth of the hose. This was a great hygiene feature when traveling in public with the pack, but is  unnecessary weight for a run. I can't get the cover off either. The soft flasks are a nice feature and fit snug into the front strap pockets.

Straps

There is an excessive amount of straps on the front of this back. There are two straps across the chest. Both have easy clips that are fast to get out of. They take a minute to clip into, however, because the connectors are so small. Neither stayed tight enough. They loosened and needed to be retightened every 20 minutes to keep the pack from moving around. There is also a waist strap that sits too far up to truly be a waist strap. It is unnecessary and doesn't carry any additional pockets, unfortunately.
