When I started running years ago, I always got shin splints. I started wearing compression sleeves for my calves, but they were so hard to get on and off that I stopped. The Vectr Light Cushion Crew Sock from 2XU are so comfortable I forgot I had them on. Though I've tried actual compression socks before, they squeezed the feet in a very uncomfortable way. I actually got a terrible bruised toenail (RIP) from the seam in one of them. The Vectr have a very wide toe box with no seams at all. The toes are free to move, but everything else is compressed. They also give a lot of arch support.
These are light cushion, and oddly enough, really comfortable to wear around the house. I absolutely love the color! They said "quick drying" on the label so I put that to the test on the first warm day we had. I ran in them for 10 miles and walked about .5 miles home. They were dry before I got to the shower! No blisters and no weird marks on your feet. I'm getting more of these!
I was sent these socks by the company's publicist to try out.
