Overall, the Garmin Forerunner 245 is a great entry-level running specific watch that has features runners of all skill and experience levels would find useful. The data provided when synced with the Garmin App is in-depth and gives insight into not only your workouts but also your sleep quality and estimated "body battery." Runners who conduct cross-training as part of their plans will find a number of options available including rowing, elliptical, and weight lifting (this one can be cumbersome and confusing).
The two main drawbacks to this watch are that it is not the newest model on the market and that the screen, even when the light button is pressed, is dimmer than many of the other watches available today.
I would recommend this watch to any runner looking to not break the bank and it can be found very affordable, especially now that it is no longer the newest model from Garmin.
