Summary

This is a review for the Wave Rider 25. High drop daily runner with a nice tight breathable fit. Good for runs around 6 or less miles. Just doesn't have the cushion for higher mileage runs.

Mizuno Mizuno Wave Riders

So I really wanted to live these shoes. I'm in my 40's so the bigger drop really reminded me of my younger days when this was the norm. They made me feel fast on my shorter runs around 5 miles plus or minus. The fit and breathability 9f these shoes are great for the warmer months. I used them in a few 5k races when running for fun with my friends and they felt bouncy and made me push my pace
As far as the bad goes my biggest issue was the heel cup. They started wearing out at less then 100 miles. You can see in photos I have had to tape them to make them usable and not cause blisters. If Mizuna adjusted the heel cup this would be my favorite shoe for lower mileage runs.

Experience

I'm around 200 miles or so in these shoes, originally they were my go to daily, but now I mainly use them for quick fast runs when I'm just trying to get some miles in
