The Garmin Forerunner 35 is an excellent watch to track your workouts, keep up with your time and pace and also be able to keep up with life while your workout is going on all at the same time. You can track whether you are doing cardio, walking, biking, or running. When it comes to the Apple watch features as listed above, it should first be noted that first, you have to sync the Garmin connect app to your watch. Once you have done that you will also be able to see text messages and other types of notifications on your watch just like you can an apple watch.
The Garmin Forerunner is the only type of watch I'm aware of all the Garmin watches that will also allow the Apple features and actually track what type of workouts you are doing. The only downside to the watch is that sometimes my phone has trouble staying synced with the watch but it is fairly easy to sync it back up. I also find it helpful to be able to utilize being able to see texts on my watch while I'm in the middle of a run as I can do that and also answer a call without having to pull my watch out.
