After making our triumphant return to our downtown course, we are excited to continue to provide you the same superior race day experience that you’ve come to expect when you run Richmond! The half marathon starts at 7th & Broad Street in downtown Richmond, one block north of the start line for the Allianz Partners Richmond Marathon (the 8k starts on Broad Street at 8th).

CarMax Half Marathon is a great starter half marathon and has a ton of community support which makes the whole experience more fun. You get to see the beautiful and historic architecture and neighborhoods, ending downtown at the James River.
