I could not have been more excited for this race & it did not disappoint! Family friendly race to support animals during the Asian Lantern Festival in the Zoo! This glow race is held after sunset for a fantastical course! Fun glow swag, music, & food

Cons

Very limited access prior to the race
No awards

Good communication, easy directions, and ample free parking.
Family friendly party atmosphere with bubble machine, dance party music led by teens, and food / drinks available for purchase prior to the race.
There was limited access to the zoo / lantern festival before the race but we were able to see the elephants and flamingos.
Race starts after sunset for spectacular views of all the lanterns including several animated and interactive displays as well as music and sound effects.
Well marked paved course, including several hills to climb, is out and back with one hydration station and lots of volunteers to cheer you on.
Ample space for spectators
Nice swag included a glow in the dark SS tee and matching finishers medal plus post race snacks
Zoo remained open and accessible to all participants to enjoy after their race
