Lecka Energy Gel (banana flavor) Review

This is a relatively new brand. It was designed with sensitive stomachs in mind. I put it to the test because I have a sensitive stomach on long runs. 

I tried the banana flavor and found the flavor to be good. The texture was similar to a Huma gel. It went down easily. The energy release was quick. I will admit that it was a bit sweeter than I typically would like. (I am a heavy, salty sweater, so I am sensitive to too much sugar.) With the sweetness, I probably wouldn't have two in a row during a run. 

I purchased this through the Feed, which is where I typically go to try out new gels. I don't think you will find this brand at many running stores because they are relatively new. The price is $2.75/gel. In my opinion, this is a fair price considering the naturally derived ingredients.

Overall, this is a good gel that I'd purchase again!
