Summary

Ice bandanas are not for everyone, and with minimal sewing skills you could make your own. This ultra soft, padded bandana works great, but is it worth the price? (Spoiler: my 4 Star is for the price!)

Rabbit Ice RAD-dana Review

Rabbit has produced a really nice ice bandana called the RAD-dana.  The traditional bandanas would just need a little sewing to make an ice bandana, so why spend $20 on this one?  Rabbit's answer is to make it a little thicker so your neck doesn't freeze while you wait for the ice to melt.  The triangle logo is an additional pad, which keeps the ice from bouncing too much and hitting your neck.

Comfort and style

Rabbit Ice RAD-dana Review
Still works as a traditional headband!

I did feel a little ridiculous with a small bow on my throat, but that was out weighed by the cooling water on my back

For the stats junkies: 88 degrees, relatively low humidity (15%). Ice lasted about 75 minutes.

Currently available in two colors.

Other Use: dog-dana!

We loaded 5 full size ice cubes. Didn't want to overload it
Rabbit Ice RAD-dana Review
This is my dog about 2 miles in super happy.

So I had my dog tested,  70 degrees with 70% humidity.  We did a little 5K run to the beach, and figured she'd want to jump in the water to cool off, not at all! The humidity didn't even bother her, and got the Zumiez on the sand.

What does that mean for testing?  I would say as long as you balance the ice, we did one in the center to on each side, The bandana stayed in place and help keep her cool.  Her fur underneath was cool to the touch, and we'll take it as a win!
