It's possible that I'm biased towards my hometown, but any chance to run through downtown Chattanooga should be taken. I ran this race for the first time in 2022, and it did not disappoint. Early bird pricing is available for those willing to commit in advance. The race director communicated well leading up to race day. The course starts and ends in Coolidge Park, located in Chattanooga's North Shore area. As indicated in the name, you'll run across some great bridges, the most famous of which is the almost 2,400' Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge. You will also get to run a section of the Tennessee Riverwalk along pathways and boardwalks. It really is a beautiful course! Parking close to the start/finish can be difficult to find, so arrive early. Plenty of bathrooms and aid stations along the course. Finishers receive a very high quality medal, and food and drinks are available after the race.
