Summary

Surgery chews are fine for short runs, but as you go further, the sweetness can be overwhelming. Noogs are a simi-sour alternative with added electrolytes.

Cons

Noogs Review

If you are looking for a little added kick in the way of electrolytes.  Not a chew replacement, but a race fuel enhancement. Mix these in with your regular run fuel to balance the sweetness and give you some extra electrolytes.

Mixing in a sour treat.

Noogs Nutrition Facts
Sour Patch Kids Nutrition Facts

We, My wife and I, both tested these.  Having similar results to being over sugared, we have been trying mixing in a sour patch kid to counter act the over sweet feeling. Noors are definitely a better product than a candy.  Overall, the Noors have less calories, but are easier on the stomach.  If you're looking for an energy burst, stick with the candy or other chews, but with the added electrolytes this is a good product to mix in.
