Shamrock 15k & 5k Review

Super fun and well attended St. Patty’s Day race! This is our 3rd consecutive year in attendance and Summit Athletic Running Club does not disappoint!
Easy directions with plenty of free parking close to the start / finish.
Super organized with Indoor packet pick up / staging / restrooms/ award area
Chip timing for a flat out and back, well marked road race with one water stop and plenty of volunteers / police presence for safety 
Choose one loop or two for your 5K / 10K distance 
Both distances start together 
This year Mother Nature may have had one too many green beverages and she decided to throw in a Thunderstorm and Tornado Watch about 20 minutes in so the RD had to make a safety call and cancel the 10K mid race.
To make it up to all the 10K ers, they handed out the coveted bobble head awards for top 3 male / female and age group winners SIX DEEP! 
All athletes receive a soft sweatshirt / hoodie and nice variety of fruit / sweet / salty snacks.
Can’t wait for next year!
