Most recently, I raced the Mammoth Trailfest 26K fueling with a mix of Neversecond and Precision 30 gels. I enjoyed the combination because Neversecond's gels have a strong flavor that compliments the mild taste of Precision. The C30s also have sodium, so I didn't have to worry too much about electrolytes in my soft flasks.
The downside of using Neversecond C30 is that the pouches feel rather large. This is likely due to the thin consistency of each gel--the additional fluid to achieve the texture adds a lot of volume to the gel. I also found that one of my C30s didn't tear properly during the race and I was unable to consume the fuel.
Each gel costs $3.50, making it a bit steeper in price than some similar gels.
