Run the rolling hills of Swanzy New Hampshire through several well preserved coved bridges. Total elevation about 350 feet, so a decent challenge of a course. For a good portion of the run, you're running along side of rivers and streams giving a picturesque view of the community.
Sorry for not taking my own pictures running through this course but we did run through all of these bridges plus one additional one.,At least. It was hot when we ran so I kind of spaced on some of it.
The race medal is usually in the shape of one of the bridges we run through.
The end of the race has a New England style BBQ, so that is hamburger, hotdogs, pasta salad, watermelon and chips. A nice spread.
Community partners donated raffle prizes. Randomly drawn by bib number.
Age group Awards were NH Maple syrup. Quarts for 1st, pints for 2nd. Sweet victory!
