These shoes are REALLY amazing. I honestly have a hard time saying something negative about them. I have been wearing Brooks Ghost for years, and every time I try to switch up my trainers my feet always want me to come back to Brooks Ghosts! As a distance runner, I’ve been running for 19 years now, and this is by far one of the best trainers I’ve ever worn.
I first discovered these shoes when I was in high school and ran track and cross country. I loved them and trained with them through Division I collegiate track and cross country as well. Now I have transitioned to marathoning and wore these as I was training for my first marathon. I am currently training for my second full marathon, and I just love the versatility and cushioning of the Brooks Ghost 15’s. You could train from a 5K to a marathon in these shoes!
I have put close to 100 miles on these shoes now, and I have worn them on 16 milers, done speed sessions such as mile repeats, as well as easy miles in them. If you are looking to buy a shoe that does it all, this shoe is for you!
My first impression when I put a pair of Brooks Ghost’s on is that they have sufficient cushion, and they feel very comfortable. I have extremely high arches as well as wide feet, so it makes finding the right shoe hard sometimes. When you have high arches, it means your foot is less flexible and more rigid than someone who has flat feet. Thus, for someone like me, I’m more prone to getting stress fractures, shin splints, and other overuse injuries, as the impact forces are not absorbed as well (due to the high arched feet). When looking for a shoe, I would be focused on looking for something with good arch support, shock absorption, and flexibility since I have such high arches. The Brooks Ghost’s have great arch support (in my opinion) and segmented crash pads to absorb shock all around your feet, while also providing comfortable cushioning and support. DNA BioMoGo, which is their midsole cushioning, conforms to your feet for amazing stability & comfort as well. I also struggle with plantar fasciitis and I love that these shoes are so supportive for this foot issue.
Brooks Ghost’s meet the width problem by providing 4 different width sizes, which is really nice. They’re available in medium (1B), wide (2E), extra wide (4E), and narrow (2A) sizes, so everyone can find the right fit for their feet!

I absolutely love this shoe; I would recommend them to both new and seasoned runners! They’re very versatile, comfortable, and a great shoe all around. Testers at Runner’s World said the Brooks Ghost 15’s are “a tried-and-true daily trainer.” They were also ranked as the best cushioned daily trainer in 2024 by Runner’s World.
