REI Co-op Swiftland Training Shorts Review

As a transmale runner, finding shorts that fit me well is often difficult. Men's shorts have a lower crotch seam, which can lead to chafing. Women's shorts are often too short, which also leads to chafing, just below the shorts instead of above. I got these on sale and they have been a great choice. I gave them 5 stars but would give 4.5 if I could because the waist is a little higher than I'd like- I usually roll it down. That's the fashion in women's athletic gear, I guess. These shorts have a lot of pockets which is great for carrying all my gels for a long run. They fit snugly but not too tight on my big runner legs, and are nice and long. In the dark green they aren't obviously women's shorts, so they don't "out" me as much when I'm in them. I find them very comfortable.
