Summary

This was my 4th race since I’ve started running again, 2nd 10k. The weather wasn’t favorable. The course was challenging (think hills it’s a golf course).

The Kindness Classic Review

This was my “jump off” race to get confidence to run a half marathon.
After I ran it I felt like I could do anything, after resuscitation. The hills were killer (remember we’re on a golf course).
I really didn’t know what to expect on this one, but it wasn’t bad. The people were very nice. They’re still learning (2nd year) and figuring things out but they’re getting there quick.
There were somewhere in the vicinity of 200 runners between the 5k and 10k. There were a lot of young runners, like high school cross country. However considering this was sort of a memorial type run in some girls’ honor that left the world early, that makes sense.
I enjoyed it and will probably run it again next year and find more people to share the torture with me.
