Summary

This jacket glows! You’ll be super visible any time of day/night. It’s held up to daily runs in all sorts of weather, keeping me dry in downpours, blizzards, and acts as a great shell against the wind. Washable, lightweight, and zipper pockets!

Proviz Classic Women’s Waterproof Running Jacket Review

I’m convinced this jacket has saved my life a few times. Most of my runs are at night, on back roads where visibility is minimal. Wearing this jacket has given me a greater sense of security knowing that drivers and other pedestrians can see me. One driver complemented me during a nighttime run, yelling out of their car: “that jacket is awesome! You’re so visible!” While it nearly gave me a heart attack, it was great to hear that the jacket was working as it should. It seems to glow in the dark, even when light isn’t touching it. It’s a great wind breaker, the hood covers my ears and forehead without getting in my eyes or squeezing my head. I’ve been using it during almost every run, and it’s held up great so far through multiple washing machine cycles. One thing is that the length of the torso is a little short, it’s not too short/small and otherwise fits well, but if you prefer to have a longer jacket I’d order a size up. Overall I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a super reflective and practical jacket that can be worn regularly.
