Summary

A Point-to-Point Race that takes you along the River (but not by the river) into Downtown Toledo where you end up finishing on the warning track of the Mud Hens Stadium (5/3rd Stadium).  Really easy run (if you are in shape).

Toledo Mini Half Marathon

As you will see in my experience, I was not prepared for this half marathon at all.  I struggled.  Ready to quit and throw up by mile 3 to cramping and couldn't move on mile 13, it was rough.  The race starts in the suburb and has a quick out and back.  This is the closest you will be to the river, which I was disappointed with.  I thought I would be running right next to it the entire time until we got downtown.  Overall, it was a nice flat race.

Experience

As I mentioned I was not ready for this race, so I have a different feeling toward it.  I was disappointed that the race wasn't closer to the river and although police were around in the sketchy areas, still sketchy.  I would love to try this race again.
