Hoka One One Speedgoat 5

All in all a great trail shoe for training and racing.  I have worn these shoes for training and now my first 50k race.  This shoes has done a great job.  I run on some rooty and rocky trails so having the megagrip is a must to keep from sliding all over the place.  The upper is much improved especially in the toe box for my feet.  Even after a 6 hour run my feet still feel good.  

My only complaint or request would be for better toe protection.  I've kicked a few rocks from time to time and having a bit more protection would nice.  But that is very minor in my opinion so this is still my go to trail shoe for sure.  I'll probably grab another pair just to rotate so I can get more time out of them.
