I've always preferred a full-zip style because it's easy to get on and off without having to wrestle with pulling it over my head while on the go. I love that this one has extra-long sleeves for my freakishly long arms, so I can use the thumb holes, but I know that this can be a problem for people with normal-length arms. And I feel like any jacket with thumb holes should also include a watch window. This one even has windows on both sides, so it doesn't matter where you choose wear your watch.
The fabric here is light and breathable - good for a little something extra - but not warm enough for colder days. It's got plenty of pockets - two outside zip pockets and a couple of unfinished-looking pockets on the inside (as I've learned, they're big enough to carry a bottle of water on one side and post-race White Claw in the other, to keep your hands free for post-race partying).
The downside: the hood doesn't really do much good. It's not really big enough to cover my head and all of my hair, so if you actually use your hood, you might be frustrated. Also...if you're tall, you'll find this to be shorter than you might like. I'm 5'10", and the front pockets are not far below my armpits.
Overall, though, this hoodie is a good one for spring and fall, when you need that extra layer (and maybe some extra pockets).
I have more hoodies than one woman should. This one has gotten me through morning walks in the fall and cool, rainy race days in the spring.
Lucie Hanes Watch window?? I need this!
Kristin Kramer Yes! I strongly believe that all leggings should have pockets...and all thumb-hole shirts and jackets should have a watch window!
