Corsa represents the ultimate evolution of the lightweight performance trainer. Inspired by athletes like Marco Langon and Simeon Birnbaum, we engineered Corsa for dedicated runners who demand it all from a single shoe. Designed to live between daily mileage and intensive quality work, Corsa handles every pace you put it through. Weighing just 190 gram with an 8 mm drop, it is powered by advanced ANIMA N2 (EVA SCF supercritical-foamed compound) to deliver exceptional lightness and a 72% boost in reactivity, keeping your legs feeling fresh as you stack up the miles. The high-energy return of the midsole is reinforced by an advanced SCF TPU element, while a full-coverage Special Duratech D2500 wear-resistant outsole delivers exceptional, long-lasting traction. Designed on a brand-new last, Corsa features a wider toe box and a broad platform that ensure superior comfort, absolute stability, and a controlled ride with every stride.

Pros
  • Lightweight and fast-feeling
  • Bouncy, energetic ride
  • Versatile across easy, steady, and faster paces
  • Excellent lockdown
  • Flexible without feeling sloppy
  • Grippy, durable-feeling outsole with no premature wear so far
  • Reasonable price ($155 at time of review)
Cons
  • Narrow fit through the toe box, midfoot, and heel
  • Soft foam combined with narrow platform can feel somewhat unstable
  • Visible midsole compression developing relatively early (30 miles)
  • Midfoot rubbing and hot spots on longer runs
  • Seems to hold onto odor, potentially related to limited breathability or upper materials

4.9/5

Summary

Light, bouncy, and impressively versatile, the plateless Diadora Corsa handles easy miles and faster work well. Great lockdown and grip stand out, but the narrow fit and soft-foam create some instability. Early compression of midsole foam noted.

Mike Varzaly This is one of the shoes I've really been interested in trying given how flexible I've read it is, and not just a one specific purpose type shoe. Plus the blue/hot pink colorway it comes in is VERY rad!

WeeViews They really do have some fun colorways! Love that companies are still making versatile trainers for less than $200.
