2025 location change due to inclement weather
Lake Meredith Recreation Area was prepared to cancel the event if the weather remained unfavorable 48 hours before race day. However, since our setup and course marking take place over 72 hours in advance, we had to make an early decision this week.
We have relocated the event to a more reliable and safer venue: Canyon Trails at Buffalo Hill (6301 W Country Club Rd, Canyon, TX 79015)
Participants will park in the Happy Bank Stadium parking lot, just south of the trail.
New Course Details:
10K – 1 loop
25K – 2 loops + 5K loop
50K – 5 loops
50M – 8 loops

Unexpected cold, windy, snowy, sleety weather resulted in a quick and well executed change in venues to a shared trail system used by runners and mountain bikers, making for an interesting day to run 31 miles
