The 8 Mile race is part of the 2023 Blue-Blazed Trail Running Series and the USATF-CT Mountain, Ultra and Trail (MUT) series — a competition for teams of three to run the trails with a chance to win prize money.

The HMF does several smaller races in CT in addition to their Marathon. This 3 options train run is a great for all. The 5 mile is the easy loop! The 3 mile is the technical trail. Well organized, cool swag and great snacks including an ABC N/A beer.
