In keeping with the fun spirit of the event please note: NO TIMING DEVICES ALLOWED DURING THE RACE, INCLUDING WATCHES, GPS UNITS AND HEART MONITORS, HEADPHONES, HEADSETS, OR EAR BUDS. Awards to the runner closest to his/her predicted time; not always to the fastest overall runners. Awards will go as deep as the prize pile. Great Prizes!

My favorite race of the year: instead of needing to be fast, I just need to finish close to my predicted time. The catch? No watch/earbuds/phone. The course runs twice around a lake. Sweatshirts, snacks and a huge prize pile from which to choose.
