The 2023 Marathon route includes some of the most dramatic improvements to the course in the race’s 46-year history. We’re back again to running internationally in 2023 and we’ve kept the additions of Detroit features like the Woodbridge neighborhood, the District Detroit, Eastern Market, the Dequindre Cut and a finish line at the foot of Campus Martius. (All courses will require municipal approval and USATF measurement.)

I loved how organized this event was! I knew when and where to go during the race day so there was no last minute scrambling. The event expo was amazing and we got some really good freebies! The course was incredible and the crowd was amazing!
Although I ran this Marathon in 2017, I am looking forward to running it again in 2024. The 2017 race was my first-ever Marathon. But where else do you run in two different Countries including running under water?.
