Beautiful route through stunning grounds. Well-organised with a great atmosphere. Only issue was the single water station – caused some congestion and could be better placed. Still a great race I’d happily do again!

Exbury Gardens 10k Review

Took on the Exbury Gardens 10K and it didn’t disappoint. The route was stunning – weaving through beautiful gardens and quiet roads with a mix of trail (10%) and tarmac. Really well organised, friendly marshals and a relaxed, welcoming vibe.

The only thing I’d flag is the water station – there was just one, and its placement meant that on the return loop, runners were clashing with those still on their outbound leg who were keen for an earlier drink. A second water stop or a different location could really help improve flow on the course.

That said, I’d still recommend it. Unique setting, great atmosphere, and a race I’d happily do again.
