Eugene Marathon Review

This course was so fun and there’s so much cool track history in the city! The course was beautiful. There were a couple noticeable hills but overall mostly flat. The most significant hill is at mile 8. And it’s a pretty big one. The weather was so nice! While racing, it was high 40’s and low 50’s with a light drizzle of rain. The start is right outside of Hayward Field and the finish is on the track in Hayward Field! Such a cool experience to finish there! The overall organization was fantastic. The aid stations were great too. They provided nuun for electrolytes at the aid stations. Great competition, there were some speedy ladies there! The only thing not so great about it was the flights were pricey to fly directly into Eugene. I would totally run this race again though. Loved it!

The medal💚

The medal is amazing. It has a piece of wood from the stands that used to be a part of Hayward Field. So you get a piece of history when you leave 💚

Race pics are free!

The race pics were awesome, very happy with the shots they got, and I DID NOT have to pay for them!!! Sooo nice.
